Brecon Estate Winery Receives 32+ Gold/Double Gold/ Platinum Reviews in 17 Months
Brecon Estate Winery’s 2014 Albarino scored two 96 point reviews in two days from two prestigious Wine Publications
Brecon Estate continues to receive outstanding, almost unheard of accolades for the Paso Robles Wine Region
July 28, 2015 - Paso Robles, CA - Last Thursday, Doug Wilder from the purely domestic wine report, a prestigious Napa based subscription only wine review publication, gave the Brecon Estate 2014 Albarino a 96 pts and a day later the World Wine Championships scored it at 96 points, a humbling Platinum nod! “The Brecon team is just awestruck as this is such a rarity for a white wine, especially the lesser known Albarino from a Paso Robles based winery,” said Damian Grindley, Owner/Winemaker.
These latest acknowledgements top a stellar rise for Brecon Estate, which opened its Vineyard Drive tasting room to much anticipation a mere 17 months ago and has since amassed over 32 Golds/Double Golds and a handful of Platinum medals. Since day one, Brecon has been at the forefront of elucidating the potential quality in this enigmatic Spanish grape varietal in SLO county. A vision that truly has come to fruition in their 2014 Brecon Estate Albarino.
